German Luftwaffe Wehrpass & Vehicle Documnets Unteroffizier Johann Poppov Battle of Britain & Italy Service

Original Luftwaffe Wehrpass issued to Unteroffizier Johann Poppov, born 13.01.1907. Poppov worked as Air Fleet support for various Luftwaffe units notably during the invasion of Belgium, the Battle of Britain, Russia and Italy. He trained as a driver and completed training with the K98K rifle. Included with the Wehrpass is the vehicle drivers license on wax paper issued November 1940, the folder matches this too with matching registration numbers of the vehicle. Also included is an Ausweis for the same vehicle with registration reading WL277786. The folder is a correct period one, as issued by the Wehrmacht. Its wax and leather protect it against the environment. A rare find in itself! Not too much is known about Poppovs service after Mid 1944, as records are no longer entered. A nice original grouping.
