Cap has some small moth nips and also shows heavy signs of sun damage with a noticeable fading of the caps material. Original WW2 German army boot knife marked (5). Complete with scabbard. Well used item with expected wear for its age. Scabbard has its clip remaining in place. Often used to clip into the jack boot or onto the belt. A nice sleepy example found locally recently.
