Original German army Soldbuch to a soldier of Infantry Ersatz Battalion 217. Attached to 157 Infantry Division. Joined in 1940 and served until the end of the war, limited number of entries however was transferred after unit disbanded in mid 1944 and was assigned to Grenadier Regiment 61. Unfortunately the photo is missing. No awards listed. Worthy of further research.  read more

This copy on the inside cover is stamped “Dresdner Bank” Lübbecke Westfalen. I assume this was where this particular copy was kept.  read more
